Southeast Philadelphia Collaborative hosts a monthly Community Council Meeting that brings in experts from different agencies and organizations to discuss hot topics around positive youth development in South Philadelphia. This meeting provides an opportunity for partner organizations and school staff to hear from experts about topics like supporting students on the autism spectrum, incorporating art into afterschool programs, and supporting recent immigrant and refugee students. Topics are selected based on conversations and recommendations from non-profit leaders in South Philadelphia.
Community Council Meetings are generally held on the last Monday of the month from 12:00pm to 1:30pm at the United Communities Houston Center, 2029 S. 8th Street. Check our calendar for the next session!
Lunch is provided for those who RSVP to the meeting. If you have further questions, please contact Malarie Grace.
